The other night our friends came over to make us their famous milk shakes. Preston requested strawberry because he's "not a fan" of chocolate. I'm still wondering who is Mom is and how my 7 yr pulled a trump card over me???
They not only showed up with ice cream, strawberries and strawberry milk, they also brought with them this basket full of "extra ingredients"
The kids had to sit at the table and weren't aloud to see how the milk shakes were made! They were laughing and trying hard to sneak a peak. They were nervous to try (what naive 5 & 7 yr wouldn't be), but after a sip, their cups didn't stay full for very long. The shakes kept on coming and coming. We drank until we couldn't drink anymore!
I'm just waiting for next time we are out getting ice cream and my kids ask for ketchup, hot sauce or easy cheese. Or even worse, they ask for Jimmy Dean sausage!

How fun! If I were them, I'd be worried about those extra ingredients, too. I can't believe Preston's "not a fan" of chocolate though (but cute he would say that)! The next time I'll be in town is Memorial Day weekend but we'll be busy with Ring Dance the whole time... so we were hoping to plan something with you guys the time after that--June 6-8 :-) You won't be in California yet, will you?
(PS to Steve--thanks so much for all of the advice you gave Matt about bases. We're crossing our fingers for LA! Too bad we won't know for 9 months.)

You guys will love LA but will do great wherever you are! Preston leaves the end of May for Nebraska. Have a great weekend, can't wait to see the pictures.
