Last year I made the mistake of putting our snow clothes away in April. I have since learned that in Colorado, snow clothes are a year around necessity. This past week, on May 1st, I took this picture of a single flower in front of my house surrounded by inches of snow. Someday I'll be able to turn on my sprinkles without the fear of them freezing on me!

I'm jealous. Not so much for the snow, but for the cold weather. I know, I know, I'm crazy...
It's better than the dirty air and smog in Southern California. I wish I were there!!! Really!!!!!
I am sorry to see the snow. It was in the low 90's this weekend with a breeze. We had to be outside for some errands and my feet got a little wet from walking through a couple of sprinkler puddles with my sandals. No clouds, no smog, no snow, no complaints here..
