2nd Half of Air Force Football

This is just the Last Half of Air Force Falcon football season!

Preston playing catch at football practice with the kicker, Ryan Harrison
Football Alumni Weekend was a big highlight. Steve took Preston on the field with him during halftime
And they got to stand on the field as the players ran on for the 2nd half
After the game Steve took Preston and his buddies on the field to stand behind the players while the band played the last verse of the Alma Mater Song
Preston and his friends made it into the locker room after the game and again got hooked up with Nike gloves, wrist bands and towels. This time Preston came out with some pretty cool black stickers under his eyes... I don't even know what they are called???
And of course the boys always head onto the field for a few games of football themselves
I LOVE football season because we have family and friends that come out to help us use our 8 SEASON TICKETS.... yes you read right 8 season tickets.
My brother Bryan has yet to miss a season. He's on the far right!
I enjoy the flybys. The F-22's were my favorite
The night before we played BYU, the BYU players held a fireside here in the Springs. Our good friends from Virginia, The Bells, have a son who's on the BYU team. We love Jeff and the Bell's so we went to see him that night. It was an amazing fireside. We were so happy we went
The BYU players were signing footballs, hats, programs... and even signed a face and a hand
The Fiala's were our friends in Virgina and moved to Denver shortly after we did. They came down to go to the BYU game with us.
Taylor doesn't go to many of the games with us. She usually stays home with Mason and a babysitter. Every once in a while she'll decide to come with us. Here she is with the Air Force Cheerleaders. They are always so sweet to her.
Yes, we did take our picture with Cosmo. Steve even stood by him, I couldn't believe it. But as you can see Preston neither stood near him or smiled. That would be his father's influence, not mine
Some of the Bell Family after the game
Our friends have twin girls. They were so adorable and were telling me how they were baby birds going to see the daddy bird... the mascot who is AKA The Bird
Matt, one of our favorite Cadets, who helped coach this year after getting injured
For Christmas Santa always comes through with football clothing or accessories
And all of this has worn off on Mason
Who one day took off his diaper and put on his robe, 2 sizes too small, and decided to play football in the house... which is a total no no, but I had to let him do it because I had to get
the picturePracticing his center skills
And here I am, resistant to show you all my behind, but.... this is where you can find me after EVERY game, still in the stands, watching the kids and Steve on the field and of course picking up after everyone
So you can see, football season is a fun time for our family and one of the main reasons why Sept-Dec is a busy time for us. I'm just glad that I get a 7-8 month break.

Great blog. Huge question - was Mason still 'diaperless' when he hiked the ball to Preston? Now THAT would have been a great picture!
